NSW:Elderly pedestrian in Sydney killed
A pedestrian in his 70s has been killed while crossing the road in western Sydney.
The man was hit by a car on Waterloo Road in Greenacre at about six this evening.
Police say the driver failed to stop but attended Campsie police station a short time later.
His white Ford has been seized for forensic examination as he helps police with their inquiries.
The road was closed for four hours.
