Fed: Celeb doctor says life will go on despite $50 mill loss

SYDNEY, Feb 21 AAP - One of Australia's best-known celebrity doctors says it will be
business as usual for his aged care foundation despite his loss of more than $50 million
to a New Zealand fraudster.

Dr John Knight, better known as Sydney broadcaster and author Dr James Wright, was
persuaded by a former neighbour, Derek Turner, to invest tens of millions of dollars of
his family's money in Turner's companies.

Turner, 56, pleaded guilty in a US federal court last August to three counts of fraud,
mainly of investors in New Zealand and …
