Kathrin Zettel already has one gold from the World Championships and will be favorite to take a second as she turns to her best event when she skis the giant slalom on Thursday.
The 22-year-old Austrian has won three of six World Cup GS races this season and showed she is in good form with an unexpected run to a super-combined victory last Friday.
"I have the best chance in GS. I hope I can have a good day," said Zettel, who aims to match Lindsey Vonn's tally of two golds at these championships.
